- Panasonic BD-60 Blu-Ray Player - 4 Sorbothane Hemipshere feet for vibration resistance - 1 HDMI 1.3b cable - Venture Bros Season 3 [Blu-Ray]
My birthday is coming up, and the wife and I were pretty set on getting a blu-ray player. I was originally going to grab a ps3 slim because the price was so comparable between players vs. game console, but the Panasonic was $139.96 w/ free shipping and no tax so that seemed like a MUCH better deal.

Where do you buy self-esteem? Do they ship overseas?

Right on, I love Herman Hesse. I still haven't gotten around to reading the copy of The Glass Bead Game that my wife bought for me a few years ago. I am just waiting for the right day I suppose...

Got myself a VAIO CW1S1E. Gonna used at Nordic Game Jam and I'm loving it! I really like the web boot that fires up a splashtop browser in like 10 seconds from a powered down state.

Whooo, big shopping day for me yesterday. I stopped by Fry's Electronics to pick up two copies of Torchlight. (which I found and acquired) But while I was there, I succumbed to the temptation to build a new rig. I've been wanting me a proper Linux box for some time. My day job is web design and coding, so having more hands-on experience with Linux servers is a good idea.
I ended up buying... An MSI motherboard An Intel Celeron Processor (2.4 GHZ, 64-bit compatible) A Cooler Master exterior case (2 five-inch bays, 2 three-inch bays) 2 Gigabytes of DDR2 RAM A 600W Power Supply A DVD Burner drive A 250 GB 2.5 inch notebook hard drive (along with mounting adapter) An MSI 512 MB PCI-Express 3D accelerator A PCI Wireless network adapter
After mail-in rebates, the entire package only cost me around $325. I assembled most of the components last night, and I'm planning on installing Ubuntu on it when I get home from work.
