TURBOZIPPED! This is everything I've shown and a little extra. Huzzah~

That last one is 32x16, not 30x16 like all the others. I know
that it's not uniform but this is the only way in which it will
tile properly. You want properly tiling grids don't you?

I'll put up a sheet where the tiles are spaced out more after I've done more of them.

EDIT: Like, now.

BTW, those beach tiles aren't supposed to be animated, it's just for variety.

More EDITS: Some extra tiles. Also they have been organized better. Organization rules!

01.We now have horsies. I really need to fix the transparency on them. I was thinking of making riders and horses separate so I can have different coloured dudes on different coloured steeds and cut down on the number of sprites needed.
02.A quick addition: armoured horses.
03. Soldiers, walls, now you can stick together maps with elevation and then put dudes with spears on top of that.
04. Loads more tiles and three variety of tree. Boy that's a lot of tiles.
05. Broke up my tile sets into separate images mainly for my benefit. Did some scenery that might be good for adding 'cover' into games if I get around to making sprites that accommodate such things. Having characters that look like they've teleported into stuff isn't a good look.
06. Dudes, swords, it's what you bring to a duel.
07. There are now dudes that fire arrers at ya. This is a stealth update.
08. More stuff. Holy shit!
09. Is that magenta I spy again?
10. Snow!
11. Weapons!
12. More stealth updates.
13. Loads more dudes. Really, that's a lot now.
14. So I walk into a bar and the bartender says "Why the long post?". This is a horse joke if you are slow.
15. Oh indexed palettes how I've come to adore you even those you are a short tempered hussy.
16. Done. Dusted.

These are great. Could you put up some sand converting to grass tiles? I apreciate the use of magic pink.

A few new tiles with bridges, some walls to make maps look more 3D and some soldiers. I love this, it's fun.

EDIT: Cubes. Might or might not make more, it's really up in the air at the moment. Hey, they make their own grid removing the need to draw one over the top to fill in the gaps between my previous tiles.

I like your flat isometric tiles more than your cube ones. This could be the lazy programmer in me talking, but changes in terrain elevation sounds like unnecessary work. Thanks for the grass to sand conversion tiles. I am a little confused why you made grass to sand to water on the 8th and 9th row. If it were pure grass to sand we could make beaches of arbitrary size and deserts with no water to speak of. Still great work, keep it up.

Oh and if you are still taking requests, trees?   Beg

I was just trying to cover as much stuff as possible with my transitions. There's already pure grass to sand in there but so far only for edges. I'll get on to doing more 'shaped' transitions later on today. Trees also.

And yeah, elevation is hell for lazy coders. Teach them to get with the program, bastards.

Looks like a very strong Civ 2 feeling. I would personally make the colors a bit less saturated, but it might look better in practice.

Speaking of which, mind putting together a 'demo map' with your tiles?

Another request (sorry!) : dudes with swords. If you can think of a clever way of making stuff even more modular, you could make dudes in various poses and also provide placeholder sprites where you can draw in a weapon of your choice, paste on top of the original, and get dudes wielding whatever you want.

If it's that bothersome I'll fix up those colours. I've been nicking them from screenshots of Megadrive games as I'm a fan of highly saturated greens. It's pretty easy to get around, I'll just go look around for some Nintendo games to steal from there.

Dudes and swords will get done. Making the equipment accessories is a good idea and will be next on the agenda once I stop getting obsessed with having every single terrain type blend into every other terrain type.

Stuff just keeps coming.

Testing out new sprite design (resized 300%) to see how it floats your boats. General/hero characters, one looking rather heroic and the other one looking like Ken-oh (I just had to put me bloody Fist Of the North Star reference in). Help me choose which base to use, I swear getting it to look good at this angle is impossible.

Obviously this is a blatant grab for the attentions of the tabletop crowd and I've probably just set the course for people who want to use my resources. Maybe you Rogue-a-like fans with the funny skin condition can still use 'em for something.

Since roofs aren't usually used as walkways I used a combination of walls and flats to create sloped sections and steeples. I've also shaded the existing walls because it looks nicer. There's enough to start building towns with so I guess I should do a WIP of my own to see everything fits together properly. I've been flying blind making tiles, real amateur shit so it will be interesting to see how much of my work has to be redone.
