I was considering making my platformer roguelike turnbased by only having anything else move when you move!

 Durr...?

Actually, I think that's an idea worth considering...hmmm...if only I had more time to develop random stuff...

Yeah Slashie's MegamanRL plays just like that.  It's a platformer that is turn-based.

I'd write a devlog about my current game, but I'm too busy making it.

After I realized I spent over ten hours with DoomRL over the past week, I snatched up all of the cool RL's mentioned here. You know, just in case the spotty Alaskan internet goes down for a prolonged time.  If anybody knows of any other cool roguelikes it'd be much appreciated if you gave them a shout-out.

For the uninitiated, there is a lot more to the Roguelike genre than you might think.

Article talks about:  Rogue, NetHack, Adom, Dwarf Fortress, DoomRL, and Slashie's stuff.

Hmm... the site seems to be gone...
