Hey folks,

I stumbled upon this competition the other week, and thought it looked like a great idea, and decided to pitch in with some music and sprites :D

I'm a programmer primarily, so most of the stuff here is low-quality :p

So far i've had a lot of fun, as i decided to write a song a day for a week. These are the results:

http://drop.io/ZepGrem/asset/adam-blues-mp3
http://drop.io/ZepGrem/asset/crystal-doom-mp3
http://drop.io/ZepGrem/asset/mighty-power-demon-hamsters-mp3
http://drop.io/ZepGrem/asset/turtle-love-mp3
http://drop.io/ZepGrem/asset/i-m-going-mp3
http://drop.io/ZepGrem/asset/hamu-to-mashu-mp3
http://drop.io/ZepGrem/asset/grasp-of-the-acolytes-mp3

I am quite pleased with the results, even if some of them sound a bit strange Tongue

This week i am going to focus on some animations for characters, possibly to try and go with the music.

Welcome to the competition! Nice work here. Turtle Love in particular stands out for me. Hope you don't mind a bit of constructive criticism: All of your songs feature the same drums, which have a kind of cheap midi rock kit sound. These work on the rock tracks, but for the quieter songs, like Turtle Love and Hamu to Mashu, they sound out of place. What software did you use to make the songs? For these songs, I'd suggest finding softer drums, like one of the classic electronic kits (808 or 909), or perhaps some brush drums. Not that I expect you to redo these tracks, just something you might want to keep in mind for future songs.

Aside from that, keep it up!
