Here are mine. New member here, by the way.

http://drop.io/mudeth6/asset/i-wanna-be-the-title-ogg
http://drop.io/mudeth6/asset/steel-forest-ogg

More coming, will be doing this in my free time. I've tried to make them loopable (that's why I've made them OGG, MP3 inserts silence at the beginning/end).

Cheers!

Update - Nov 5:

http://drop.io/mudeth6/asset/dooby-doo-mp3 (inspired by Rynan's blue bug).

Will post MP3s of the other two soon. Will also try uploading at least one track every two days.

Very nice.

I love the title theme.
Steel Forest seems rather fitting for a Knytt Stories level.

Also, is this why everyone seems to use OGGs? I knew MP3s did that stupid silence thing, but I wasn't aware OGGs didn't. Good to know Smiley Hand Thumbs Up Right

Can you post MP3s also (rendered from the source, not transcoded from OGG), despite the looping thing?

These tunes are great, and they would suffer from generation loss if I had to transcode them from OGG to MP3 to play them in Flash.

Hey thanks, Rynen and jjs! Smiley Loved your art as well Rynen, that thing is funkeh.

Yeah, I play a lot of Nifflas' games. I was partly influenced by Chrono trigger's 600 AD as well. Love the music in those games.

I think MP3 does that silence thing unless it's encoded directly IN Flash. Does Flash import FLAC? If it does, I could upload lossless FLACs. Can't do it right now since my internet speed is way suck.

If that won't work, I'll upload MP3s from source anyway.

Really liking both of these! I can definitely hear the Chrono Trigger influences in Steel Forest.

Aside from the gap issue, OGG generally gives a better quality/size ratio than MP3, which makes it a lot better for game music. Sadly, few engines have OGG support built-in. I should definitely be encoding MP3s with LAME, though; don't know why I didn't think of that before.

Yeah, tried encoding with LAME, seems gapless enough. Smiley Don't know why Wavosaur makes gaps, though. It uses LAME too.

Will post MP3s of the first two tracks soon.
