Not a fan of the style. They look like creepy bug-eyed disproportionate things with huge hair. It would help if you used more than 3 shades.

The candle is a little big...

But the character sprites would look great in an RPG or similar-style game.

The candle is big, but I think that'd be great for a cutscene. I imagine a black background, the candle in the top layer, and maybe a wizard's face (or a book) one or two layers below that, shaded to flicker with the light. It'd be pretty dang great!

The characters do look a little starry-eyed but it's something different and the more variety the better, so.. keep at it. =D

Hello this is Pencerkoff

Nice bird.  Better than mine, at any rate.

Is there any hope of convincing you to make those eyes more... subtle?  I actually didn't see any candles until I looked back after seeing a post commenting about them.

I guess what I'm saying here is that the eyes are distracting.  Don't remove the old ones, though, cause there's a good chance someone will make a really creepy game with the ones you got there.
