(Apologies in advance if this topic doesnt belong to this forum, but I found no guidelines...)

Hi all!

I am looking for an experienced Flash game developer for a short paid project. It will be a 2D Scrolling game so would be nice to have a 2D Scrolling game game in your portfolio. Interested please contact me at [email protected] or post a personal message. Thanks!

Edit:

Game is not really a platformer but a sidescroller or top-down flying game

That's like two totally different things Roll Eyes

What exactly is this project about? What is the goal with it? How much does it pay? Why do you want it done? Etc, etc?

It is a flying game, it may end up being either top down or side scrolling, (I dont see how extremely different they are? it's basically 2D movement.

The project is a short advergame, details will be sent (have been sent) to those interested Smiley

Yeah, sorry about that requirements were a bit opaque when I first got them Smiley

Gameplay design for a side-scroller/top-down/platformer may be different, but the requisite work for the programmer is likely going to be very very similar.

I sent you an email on the off chance that it's something I'd be interested in; I really recommend posting a lot more details right to the thread. Even ballpark figures are better than nothing!

In case anyone's curious, the way this appears to work is that all interested developers submit CVs and costings for the project based on a provided spec (which I won't reproduce here since it might be confidential) and then they pick one.

Indeed, all interested are sending me an email and filling a simple online form; I send them the specification for review and any questions about it are solved via email.

I'm still evaluating options and will announce the selection soon, thanks to all who have sent their info!

Desperate for some money right now, and I'm definitely qualified to create what the project demands, so I sent in a request for information. Will see once I get some info back Smiley
