Hack n slash wasnt the last one listed Augmented Reality + RTSNeed more peons? Just grab some paper clips! Want some heavy artillery, build it out of legos and the more awesome-looking it is the better it does. Use exotic weapons like slinkies and toy trucks to run over your opponents makeshift army en masse!

Drat, you pre-empted my great RTS concept in mid-type. Well, I'm sure RTS will come up again.
Katamari + Golf
You start with a golf club that does not stick to your Katamari golf ball. Air does not stick to the ball; just about everything else does. It gets harder and harder to put your ball into a hole. At some point you'll just have to put the holes onto your ball. Endgame involves trees and water hazards stuck to your ball, possibly using the trees to overcome the water hazards and sand traps.

RTS + Rhythm
Manage your band while they're playing to create the most entertaining performance. Make sure the back-up dancers don't bump into each other, keep the bouncers near any suspicious looking fans that might try and climb up on stage, quickly tweak the speakers and swap the guitars before the next song starts, and ready the fireworks to shoot off during the grand finale. Sorta like a Brutal Legend prequel.

Hack & Slash + Shattered HorizonLeap and bound through a zero-g environment, tearing waves of foes limb from limb with your arsenal of conspicuously short-ranged weapons, given the futuristic setting.

Lightsabers, obviously. Shattered Horizon + MazeNavigate a three-dimensional maze in zero gravity. With teleporters. It's hard.

Hide and Seek + City Management
You discover an alien city that is undergoing a dimensional shift due to a rift in the fabric of space-time. It is difficult to restore the alien technology to operational capacity because key infrastructure keeps winking out of existence. Compare the classic Star Trek episode "The Tholian Web."

Chess + RPG (or Chess + RTS)
It's not like totally original, but I have yet to see a good implementation.
Chess were each piece has stats and weapon.
There is a shop.
When you attack a piece, the two pieces engage in a FF-esque RPG battle.
