I need a better microphone. And some more talent couldn't hurt.
Bought a better microphone. Talent will come later, if at all.
I'll try to record some original character dialogue once I get that annoying static worked out. Thinking about making some standard sayings for a few campy character voices (annoying cartoon mascot, gruff soldier, poorly dubbed hero):
- Various yes/no questions
- Who are you?
- I'm ...
- Oof (hurt)
- Death scream
- Anything else?
Ideally, the dialogue should be such that a developer could patch together a generic, awful videogame story piecemeal. Even more ideally, a developer would be able to piece together a completely incomprehensible spoken word piece. Hopefully will have time to actually do this.
