I would love to fly over and see Winnipeg and jam with you guys! May 15-16 definitely works better (the later date conflicts with the Sasquatch music festival which I'm hoping to go to as well).

Sounds like the weekend of May 15th is the preferred choice so far...

Yeah, no objections from me.

Plus, the sooner we set a date, the sooner I can start watching for cheap flights.  Smiley

Oh man, that would be awesome if you came to Brandon.

...now we just have to force fish to come!

ALSO: announced *here* first!  Matt, Chevy, and I are hosting an Edmonton jam in 2.5 weeks!  Yes, very short notice for those interested...we're calling it a "spontaneous" jam.  Anyway, back to making the poster for it then...I'm having quite a bit of fun messing around with typography!  Beer!

Vancouver now. But I grew up in Edmonton. I kinda miss it, in a deranged sort of way.

Holy crap, now I can tell people the the (esteemed) creator of Envirobear grew up in Edmonton...actually, I think knowing that makes the game make a lot more sense now.  Cheesy

2nd Holy crap, just read back a couple posts and see that you might be interested in coming!  Shocked

Anyway, I'm more hopeful about Edmonton, but that's only because of two things:
A) our current mayor/city council isn't shit
B) thanks to working at a big architecture firm in town I get to see parts of the city a few years before they come into being

Ah, awesome. Chevy is from Clearwater, i think Matt is up in GP, Greg is in Edmonton, and Derek Boe and me are from Calgary. Wonder who else is from this part of the world.

Well, now I've outed everybody's hometown!!! Sorta...

Returning to regularly scheduled game dev!

I'm infinitely jealous of the Edmonton jam.  Any interest for another Winnipeg one soon?

Yeah, I was under the impression that it was happening on that mid-May weekend.

Don't know for sure whether I'll be going or not; probably depends 95% on whether Chevy and/or Matt end up going.  Wink

You and Nava should totally drive out to Edmonton, assuming there isn't some crazy road-conditions-destroying blizzard before then!  Smiley

Oops.   I completely misread this thread somehow.  I thought it had happened already.  How embarrasing.  Embarrassed

But, this is good news!  I will have to make sure to check it out.  Sounds like fun!
