Got a tip-off today that Cottage Of Doom was on the PC Gamer coverdisc so I grabbed a copy on my way home, and lo and behold, right there on the coverdisk are the following games, quite fittingly, on side B of the DVD:

Bloody Zombies, Toadzilla, Cottage of Doom, Save the President and Space Barnacle. Proceeding to the magazine itself, I found the following articles (clicken to embiggen):

And on booting the coverdisk:

With descriptions of each game in the "indie" section:

GO TEAM

So congrats to Golds, hamster, jwaap, cactus, Radnom, and of course gummikana who gets a whole article to himself :D

Which edition is this!? My gods, I hope they sell it in New Zealand. I'm going to go look for it in a few minutes.

Big thanks to haowan for scanning these. Apparently the PC Gamer editors are avid readers of TIG.

My only complaint is that they should have mentioned Gamma 256 in the Bloody Zombies article. Gamma 256 being the sole reason why that game was ever made.

They also didn't seem to get the description of the B-Game competition correct, but ah well, still awesome to see!

I agree with Petri about Gamma 256, they should have at least said, "This game was developed for a competition called Gamma 256."  Speaking of which, what was that "developed for a B-game competition" gibberish all about?  Are there other B-game competitions?

Oh, and if Javet's list generated so much traffic, imagine what it will be like after this.
