Here's a ghetto MS Paint mockup I made.

Aesthetics:

I think it'd look better if you didn't have the version number making an obstruction around the TIGPlayer logo. Smiley

Okay, doing one last update to the Construct version. There are only two big changes in this one; you can now read the description, and the default repository is now Kibble's server(which has 6 games now).

GET TIGPLAYER V0.2 NOW

Also, just to have this noted down...

Suggestions so far:
  • Showing installed games
  • Removing games
  • "Suggest a game"-function
  • Categories and search
  • "Random game"-function
  • TIGdb functionality
  • Changing and downloading new repositories in the app
  • MORE GAMES

... Shocked

This is gonna take a little while.

I will try to keep this updated with new games, though.

How about instead of "suggest a game"(although it could easily parallel)

You have a feature to allow users to add their own games to the TIGPlayer list(to play, not DL) and every time you do this, in addition to being added onto your list(Ofc) the game details are sent to the server. The server handles these details, and will tally up how many users are adding this game to their list. You could look at this information, and perhaps, look to add new games to the list by popularity amongst users.  Smiley

Then people would be dicks and upload cat porn or something.

It's not like they're uploading the actual game. Just the name and associated descriptions of it.

Not implementing a feature because immature teenagers want to be funny. I disagree with this logic entirely.

Hey look, I'm contributing my terrible concepts to this thread. <o/

I'd love to see images and a little more information on the games I'm downloading. A couple images taken at different stages would give the user enough information to make the download judgment call. A title screen and 2 or 3 gameplay images would be great. If the game has a Youtube video posted, maybe hotlink the video inside the TIGPlayer client so trailers can be watched internally?

I really think there needs to be at least one image there, though. :D It can be downloaded and cached inside the TIGPlayer folder so that once the user downloads the small image, it wont need to be loaded ever again and should smooth out browsing.

Also, I downloaded Death Worm because of this player... and I love it.  Kiss Thanks, TIGPlayer!

Anyway, just little ideas. Smiley I love the simplicity of using this program, and it has already made me try games I wouldn't have otherwise tried. Keep up the good work!
