 But no, everything in Spelunky seems pretty clear to me. A lot of those Zelda sprites getting posted earlier were a different story. |

I always saw the red part as a sort of head-cloak, with the darker part being the opening, with the face in shadow.

looks like a grasshopper or cricket to me. no idea about the second though. Whoah, I forgot totally about this! This may seem like I made it up, but I actually saw that enemy as an elephant that had its nose on the ground. Like:  The blue colour made it totally impossible for me to see any sort of grasshopper. Whoa it's supposed to be a grasshopper? I thought they were elephants too. ...although now the sprite looks kind of like a horned lizard that jumps with an bendable penis. ;C Pretty sure it's supposed to be a Snouter ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhinogradentia)  |

I always thought they were wearing shiny red motorcycle helmets with spikes on the back. I still have a hard time seeing the bird head. I have to really concentrate. |
