THANKS to TIGSOURCE for hosting this competition! I would have NEVER thought about making a overly pixelated 2D platformer if it had not been for this event. For my first-ever platformer, I humbly suggest it isn't too shabby!
THANKS to all the AWESOME ARTISTS who entered in PART 1! I really wish we had MORE TIME to use more of those assets. Many SWEET TUNES and AWESOME SPRITES were left under-used. This saddens me, but do know you work is not UNLOVED!
HERE'S to an AWESOME NEW YEAR!

ORIGINAL POST:
Anyways, I'll be getting some real work done tomorrow afternoon after my classes. I'll primarily use Oryx's lo-fi sprites, but I definetly want to search out and use other people's art. :D I'll be programming in BlitzMax and I'll be able to compile it on Windows, Max OSX, and Linux. I want to use the 1-bit sprites, but if I find it gets to bland I might have to switched to the colored stuff. I'm going to go for a puesdo original-gameboy feel. I might royally screw it up but this is my first compo anyways, so screw it, this'll be fun.
