Hm, so I tried 1.1.1... it seems to perform better than 1.1 did for me but still runs much slower than any of the youtube videos.

Erm... what  rigs are you running? My own rig is mid-range, at best, but I've been playing Saira on my Mum's budget laptop aswell... with no slowdown...  WTF

Was surprised this morning when I loaded up Steam and got this ad for Saira

It's also 10% off for it's first week, so if you want to save a buck I guess grab it now. If people didn't like the original 17 dollar price tag, I'm sure 8.99 may look more attractive.

This game is great. Seriously, fucking great.
Except for the interface, I love everything about this game. It's also pretty damn underrated, I would take this one over Braid any day.  Beer!

Really happy to see this; nifflas is a great guy and Knytt Stories is the first indie game I recommend to people who don't know about indie games, or even just people who don't play a lot of games.  But enough about KS; I like Saira too, I just think it's a little rougher around the edges because it isn't a true sequel like KS was; I'm really glad nifflas went out on a limb and experimented with this one though!  Beer!
