I'm so indie that as soon as this thread hit 30 pages, it became too mainstream for me.

I'm so indie it's a verb. Renton may or may not have indied with your mother last night. IN BED.I am so indie that I quite verily like to use pseudo-archaic language at times which I feel it is in no way appropriate, such as during a chat or a public speech. I am so indie that Latinum fractum dico. And I do so without any macrons, either. I'm so indie that posting about how indie I am is a habit. I'm so indie that I-what the hell is this: " "

And so, the thread ground to a halt on the edge of a massive precipice, the sight of which shook them, made them shield their eyes. "A moment more, and.." one trailed off, shuddering. They drifted out of the cars of the train, slightly shaken, meandering and talking in low voices. Slowly, they made their way to the edge of the cliff, and looked down at the yawning chasm - frightened - as if the valley was the gaping maw of some slavering beast. "Thread over!" shouted the conductor, and a collective exhale could be heard among the party. Soon, they began to wander off in search of other, better threads. A few began to make the trek back to Art + Design, unable to sustain themselves without their fix of the Cafe devlog. Others decided to rest in the nearby town of Indie Games, in the province of Player. A locked door with the legend MANCRIB inscribed upon it slowly appeared; deadeye unlocked the door, walked inside, and disappeared. The rest huddled in the cars of the now-dead thread, waiting until the next day to return. Unfortunately, no one had noticed the conspicuous sign emblazoned Owl Country. Days and nights passed, and they never returned to town.
Days later, Renton, running away from the inferno of a derailed thread, came to the site of "I'm so Indie..". He stopped, and looked into one of the cars. Stunned, he fell back, reeling. "Those poor sods," he cried. Ceremoniously, he took off his hat and knelt by the thread, where vultures now huddled, pecking and clawing at the remains. There was silence for a time. Slowly, he got up and began to walk away on the tracks, towards town. "We should've left at page 3!" he said, running now, away from the wreckage, away from the carnage, sprinting away from the demise of what had been a rickety thread to begin with.
