Hello!

I'm moving out to the Bay Area tomorrow for a new job... but I don't know anyone there at all! Is anyone out there from that area? It would be great to make new friends while I'm out there.

I live about 3-4 hours east of the bay area.  However I have some friends that live in San Francisco and there about.

Anyways, I hope you enjoy living in the Bay Area!

I'm about an hour north of San Francisco (Rohnert Park) and work in Novato (.5hr from san fran).  The lady and I are fairly new to the area as well. Wink

Congratulations on the move! The Bay Area has a lot to offer us indies and I hope you enjoy it here.

Thanks for replying everyone.

I just spent my first week out here. I'm working in downtown Oakland... I never see many people out in the streets even in broad day light. Where is everyone? I'm from Chicago... so everything feels really different.
