I am amused, horrified, and somewhat surprised.
Adam, don't give up. So Flytrap's not the hit you thought it would be - suck it down and move on. Work on some new games and lay low for a bit and then pop back up and astound everyone with your new work.
Or, y'know, keep shitting over threads and be insulting or making a fool of yourself in front of the people who can help you out.
/ not an American, happily

Peace isn't very American, you know. So, I'd like to start a meme about things being un-Albanian. Like compromise: "You...you what? You compromised? Good God, man--that's positively un-Albanian! What would Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg say?!" Or peanut butter: "So help me, Carol, if you put peanut butter on that sandwich, I am leaving you. Peanut butter is an affront to peace, justice, and the Albanian way."

The real question here is - what's the All-Albanian Dream?

And a piece of land in all neighboring countries, starting with Kosovo. FYROM is the next.

Not at all. People who like America are generally just fine with continuing to do so, though, while people who don't like America have a tendency to scream and shout and kick up a fuss.

Bit late to the party, but here's my two cents. Adam, If you're still reading this please take note that I do not hate you, I look up to you since I've never actually finished a game so you may or may not take this on board... The thing with the "indie scene" is that we aren't ALL professionals, many of us are hobbyists that make games in whatever spare time we have. Our games aren't all meant to be THE BEST, THE MOST POLISHED, THE MOST INNOVATIVE. We make games...well I think you get the point. I think that you should lower your expectations of the indie community (just a tad).
