I must say that my initial love for XNA is terrible tainted by all this and it's the last time (knock on wood) I'll develop for it. I'm going to use SDL with the usual wiz-schofräs from now on. I'm not happy about switching from C# to C++ but it's not that big a deal.

I'm sorry for being such a tease for you guys who can't play it. It's not that big of a deal, the game is horrible unfinished.

XNA games have worked on my system before (Win XP SP2), and I ran the XNA Requirements Checker/Installer just to be sure, but the game doesn't run. Here is a screenshot. I can't tell what the actual problem is...

I've got all the tools for creating XNA games installed here and it won't run, but the title I'm working on runs fine compiled. There must be something else causing the crash.

Sorry that it's in Polish but you'll get the idea. ^^

I so would have liked to play it and perhaps vote for it - now I can't even check it out. Undecided

P.S. No, I'm not an XNA hater IF the game in question is working...

to those who ve trouble with xna. please note that there are two run time redistributable packs: XNA Framework 1 & 2.

I only had 2.0 installed. Didnt work. Installed 1.0 aswell. bingo!

To the game itself. Nice art and ambitious. BUT!

Seriously? you get shot on the first 10 meter by guys you cannot even see?!
Thats what Yathzee would call a d*ck move... not very motivating.

Thanks for the hint with XNA 1.0 - indeed it does work now but I made the very same observation. ^^
