Hey there! We are looking for these of you willing to spare some free time on a cool project. We are aiming to create a simple yet engaging game, which will enable player to take the lead and try to guide the entire human civilization to the next stage of evolution, whole time having to protect it from premature annihilation.

As of now, we are looking for a concept artist and a 3D artist. We don't need you to have extreme skills, just some passion and love for what you're doing will do just fine.

here's a video we've just put together (nothing fancy here, but you get the idea; includes some early in-engine stuff):

In the beginning the game would give you a choice between few starting points, each of them offering you a different amount of the initial world-changing power. Player is allowed to allocate his, lets say, “Political Capital” into different areas of interest. There are also events, which are triggered by historical timeline, which are dependent, but not entirely, on player’s choices. Decisions made during such events may have variable impact on the gameplay.

You could either choose to play as, for example, the soviet union during cold war or as a start-up rocket company at the beginning of the twenty first century. Obviously whatever you choose to start with has great impact on gameplay. Every starting point would throw you into a different kind of story, at least in the short term, as the long term story advancement is based on a really simple basis of survival - your civilization thrives and advances to the next stages, or it gets destroyed or regresses so much that it’s lost it potential to advance.

The main purpose of the game would be to kind of make the player realize some things about us humans as a species, as the “big picture” isn’t understood or even thought of by the vast majority of the population. There’s certainly a nice niche for this type of games. I think that a believable story and an engaging gaming experience could be done, simply by making a transition from where we were to where we are going to be in a probabilistic fashion. The beauty of it is that it wouldn’t have to be limited to one “future”, as it is often done with sci-fi games, but it can show many possible routes.

If you would like to share your skills with us, or just want more info, don't hesitate to contact me with a PM or at [email protected]

All feedback is greatly appreciated! Wink
