Seriously, this thing took me 2 seconds to figure out, and was INCREDIBLY USEFUL in capturing and editing footage. Also, it's free for 30 days.

However, if your computer isn't fast enough to run a game and screencap software at the same time, I'd recommend writing a script that saves every frame into a properly numbered .png, and then compiling all the images with VirtualDub.
