MechoEcho - A robot building and simulation game

Hi,

This is MechoEcho, my first indie project. I always loved games where you can build stuff, robotics simulations, and games like “Another World” that take you through an epic but personal journey... so I decided to put them all together.

After working on this on my own for the past year and a half, I'm hoping to get some other eyeballs on this to get some insightful feedback. Obviously my friends and family like it but that's not necessarily the best set of testers. (Yes, my mom thinks I'm cool) Would you please take a look and tell me what you think?

The game
MechoEcho is a game about building and piloting robots. Players use the in-game editor to create machines to solve mind-bending puzzles and overcome the obstacles in their way. Part puzzle game / part robotics simulator, the game makes robotics accessible to anyone.

Gameplay

Build fully functional machines and robots using construction blocks.
Transform yourself into a robot and back into humanoid form at will.
Pilot your creations with our in-game robotics simulator.
Explore on foot or transform yourself into any machine you can build.
Unravel 3D puzzles and overcome obstacles inventively – there is no one answer to any brainteaser.

Atmosphere

A shadowy CyberDeco world inhabited by mysterious beings that may help or hinder your progress.
An epic fable about the universe, existence and free will.
An ethereal, introspective, electronic soundtrack.

Everything Else

Single-player game, being developed for Windows, Mac and Linux.
Dozens of levels, no limit to the number of machines you can create.
Construct machines on machines, catapults, walkers, climbing robots and more to expand your reach.
