[Thompost]

Hello, I was recommended to this website by a friend. He said I may be able to find some folk who wanted some music composed.

I've written loads of music under the alias of "Thompost" and I'm always bursting with ideas. I've always wanted to write for video games. My soundcloud has a variety of tunes: http://soundcloud.com/arboreal-1 I'm loving writing stuff like "Yiube" and "Swampy Raspberry" at the moment.

I have also released a couple of albums on a Net Label called Elpamusic and several more on my bandcamp.

I've written concept albums (Water and Garden) and I've won a competition for writing music for the Wildlife Photographer of the Year best picture (http://soundcloud.com/arboreal-1/beachface). I seem to work best when I have a concept to follow so I reckon writing music for a video game would work for me.

Links below with a brief description underneath. These are all a bit more "Organic" with acoustic sounds and samples rather than just synths and drum machines apart from "Alluvial".....that's pretty synthy

I was initially discouraged since the first two links I clicked ("50 minutes..." and "Ambient, acoustic...") showed big Download buttons, and I really don't want to save anything without first having some positive inclination towards the artist. Because of your reddit post though, I came back and gave the Water link a try - this stuff is really cool! Very relaxing.

So, to other forum browsers, do give it a chance! I didn't at first because of the download, but for ambient at least, the work is quite good. Never bland and it captures the mood that it wants to, for Water at least. Good on you sir!

I saw that only on my second look through your links, but the giant Download text caught my eye first (it also loaded faster, and my given how many threads there were to go through, I didn't want to spend more than an instant on any one page)
