Hello everybody!

I started this thread because I need some feedback for my new game,
it's called Overwatch. I guess it falls under the real time tactics category.

The game is inspired in classics like X-COM and Laser Squad Nemesis,
but being real time it plays more like an RTS...

The main difference is the ability to take cover behind obstacles, the whole game was designed around that mechanic.

Graphics are amateurish, I know. They were made by me and my brother, some are ripped. etc...

GAMEPLAY VIDEO:

SCREENSHOT:

So, you can play the game here:
http://games.mochiads.com/c/g/overwatch_v3/Main_secure.swf

But make sure you reduce the browser window so it fits perfectly, otherwise the scrolling wont work. (sorry about that but the mochiads site doesnt add the html code to fix stage size)
Also the invite feature has a bug I havent been able to fix, dont use it.

That's it, go and play the tutorial first,
then go to multiplayer -> make a room and tell some friend to get in the lobby and look for your room.

Good luck!

PS: If you try to play against yourself by opening a second tab in your browser it runs super slow, must be some weird flash quirk, or maybe its just Chrome.

I definitely like the polish that the game has. It's lightly tactical, and that's good for me, cause I'm not very tactical. But I do like that most gung-ho approaches don't really work. Unfortunately, I didn't have anybody to play against, so I didn't really get the full experience. But the tutorial was helpful.

I tried to keep the game simple and kind of casual, without dumbing it down to just amassing troops and charging.

Too bad you werent able to play online... I've been having fun getting my ass kicked by friends.

Seems like a fun game. Although I am sure all the fun is in multiplayer, and I only played the tutorial(No avaiable rooms).
By the way, your youtube videos, are you sure you linked them right? Because it tried to download a file when I click them.

Oh, that's weird. Let me link it again.

I dont think there's a chance you'll find open rooms, I've only posted the game in this forum so far...
