Hello there! Firstly, thank you for taking your time to read this topic!
My name is Oliver Saal, and I'm the Project Coordinator of The Dawn of Twilight, a indie online role-playing game. Let me just clarify right in the beginning that we're not looking to hit AAA MMORPG-levels, but merely stay with a small, dedicated player base Smiley

But what is The Dawn of Twilight?
The Dawn of Twilight, commonly abbreviated DoT, is a upcoming online role-playing game, which combines the next-generation virtual reality technology, eg. Oculus Rift, and the old and proven role-playing scene. Players choose a character from seven races and classes, and ventures forward to reveal what's really happening in the mystical world of Argenta.

That's a pretty raw description of the game, so be sure to check out our webpage for much more information! (Link is at the bottom)

Who are you looking for?
Right now we're looking to expand almost all our departments, so we're looking for almost everybody! Graphical artists of all kind are most welcome; we intend on going into main production soon, but we need 2D and 3D artists for that. Oh, and '3D' also contains animation, texturing and the likes! Wink
Proofwriters are also most welcome, as the administration of this team is natively Fennoswedes, so our mother tongue is both Finnish and Swedish... but not English :D
Localizators are as well needed; a translation from English to Swedish is under way, but larger languages would be gladly needed!
We currently have the position of composer filled, so no applications on that front.

We do not require any experience, as the only thing we look at is talent and dedication. More information on how to apply down below.

What's in it for us?
Fame and glory :3
But more seriously; as we're a small indie development group, we cannot afford to compensate for the work of our team members. We do hope to be able to compensate long work relationships in the future, but as of now that is out of reach.
Instead we allow artists to use works that they've created in their portfolios (more detail upon joining the team) for personal use. Note that, even though I just said 'personal', we're not really that strict, and can (and probably will) allow you to use your works elsewhere as well Smiley

Awesome! How do I apply?!
Firstly, calm down.
All applications are to be sent via email to "[email protected]" (excluding citation marks). Title the email as following: DoT - Your skill/job - Application.
The application should contain a short description of yourself, your full name and country. Attach any samples of your work or links to it to the email. Note that the email doesn't have to be in any way formal, but the more descriptive the better Wink

Any questions you might have can be sent to "[email protected]" (excluding citation marks), or sent via our contact form at our website.

I hope to see many interested people applying! Wink
