A quick question, let's say we want to crowdsource a game. If we are from US then the choice is obvious, Kickstarter.

But what about non US devs? I have looked through these sites and I get a feeling the obvious choice is IndieGoGo. Is my impression correct?

Should we always go for:
- Kickstarter if we are US residents
- IndieGoGo for everyone else?

Yeah and in europe there is also Ulule but not much games go there.

Note that KickStarter is now available to UK residents.

I will not put money in KickStarter anymore (and haven't for a year) until it's available in France too.

I heard they intend to extend it to australia and new zealand, and maybe some white-only areas of zimbabwe, also, half the money will go to the queen of england, she's like the alien queen but for anglos Gentleman

Hmm.. I read some of the stuff on IndieGoGo a while back, and I thought they were targeted at US.

I just meant that if you are not US dev you can use it. If they target it to US visitors is less important (actually, I think they should target US players because they are rich :D).

Anyway, my point and question is this. If I'm a non US/UK dev, does it make sense to use IndieGoGo? Would it have enough impact to make it worth it (compared to kickstarter)? Are there other, better, "kickstarterish" websites one should use instead?
