Fantastic and super details but the perspective looks off even by cheating standard

So after looking attentively here what I noticed

- Line converge mostly to the place for furniture, but they look like they wer made with cg, they are more clean
- Litter and overall drawn object don't follow perspective and don't deform with depth, the couple hiding in the bottom left corner don't seems to scale
- the bed is off the perspective grid, notably the end
- the perspective vanishing point are too close to each other, making a short and very harsh perspetive

Since you have a style that is manga you can use a manga perspective trick to open space, also used by the famous painter Veronese, you just have to make the ceiling and floor converging to their own separate horizon.

Instead of crossing the line (ceiling converge below the floor horizon) like in this example keep them appart (ceiling converge above the floor horizon)

point is, lines on forms that are parallel to each other on one plane point to the same horizon line.

Just finished this up tonight:

I've been thinking about adding a really subtle red tint to the background stuff (second image). What do you guys think? If I do the red tint, should I push it more?

Here's my friend's original art for that character:

She's a much better artist than I am, obviously. Which is why I'm having her do some of the art for my current game instead of handling it myself.

You can like it or not but I have to say that your friend is very original and have a strange artistic view but she is very good!

I think I succeeded in making the worst piece of "art" in existence. Yes, it is my wallpaper now.
