Can't Microsoft create a goddamn player for XNA applications? This is just plain bullshit.

Don't think I'll be playing this entry. Oh, and my card doesn't have pixel shaders, so I guess it wouldn't work anyhow.

Yeah, sorry you had to spend all that time trying to get it to run... Seems like XNA's still got a ways to go before compatibility isn't such nonsense, even on machines that have it installed.

Sorry I can't play it and tell you what I think. The game looked like it was pretty awesome.

I think the main problem with XNA is that they did; it's called the XBox 360.

Running XNA games on a PC seems to very much be the vaguely-supported secondary usage of the framework.

Unfortunately It's not easy to distribute XNA games on the 360 freely, since you actually have to pay money to be able to do so, from what I heard.

Hey, I didn't say it was a free XNA player. Tongue

And yeah - you currently have to subscribe to their Creators' Club to get code onto the 360. But they've been talking about letting anyone with a Live account download and play XNA games from a community-moderated portal of some kind, which IIRC they're supposed to launch at the end of this year; then you'd only need to pay them the money to develop for the console.

I love the feel and look of the game, the music is awesome too.  I just think it needs to be more... INTENSE.

I played this quite a bit, i'd like to see it developed further with a better tricking system. Good work!

I'd so love to play this.

But even following your instructions to the letter, it's not working.

Did you try out the requirements checker? That might point you in the right direction. Unless, of course, you don't have a "good enough" video card for a 2d game. Then you're just screwed.

Oh, here's a second mirror, in case the first one goes down.

 Gentleman

The checker said all was fine... I am trying to run it on my laptop, but I would have thought that was ok

Pity so many people are having a hard time running this... it is really one of my favorite entries so far. A bit of Booger Bungie, a bit of Freeride Earth, and a lot of fun. I really like how relaxing this game is to play once you get the hang of it (ala Freeride Earth). I agree with Tommunism that the trick system could be greatly expanded with really good results... I feel like this is just a taste of what the game could be, which I am hoping is the case--I want to see more! Nice job!

Here's the thing:

I can run K2, an XNA game, but this still crashes on start-up.

What's going on Sad
