Hey y'all, I'm not very steeped in the community here but I thought I would try to make a thread. So usually I make pretty small games, so I  figured I'd make one thread dedicated to many games. Im pretty slow to respond to things so don't be bothered if it takes me a day or two to reply to something.

HELIX DX

A game you where you fly a ship around pillars and listen to music.

Most current screen shot:

Some visual effects gifs:

This is an old video gameplay in a prototype:

Here is some music that's in the game right now: http://sapphireshores.bandcamp.com/album/kony
and: http://klslwsk.bandcamp.com/

PISS WOLFS: PAIN STAR

A interactive narrative and a collaboration with the painter Billis Helg. I don't really know what more I can say about this for the time being.

Here some in progress gifs:

Playing around with GUIs because the first one I put in place displayed mouse x and y coordinates, But it was deceptive because the world is divided into "hemispheres" and if the mouse x falls into one of these you're placed into it. So mouse y was irrelevant confusing information.

Vroom Vroom aeroplane sprites in consecutive order.

My friend Jonny says that good games should have healthy food in them. So I'm making fruit & veggie particles.

Edges are pretty cool I don't really have a sense of nostalgia for pixel art. I guess edges come more naturally to me as well. Or are you talking in like broader terms?

it was in reference to the ship. I like this "grid-edges" style

A little comparison of this game. The remake has almost all the features the first one has but a much better class structure and some pseudo audio visualization that scale and change the alpha channel of the texture the game is drawn on ques. Anywho here are some screens comparing the new game with the old one.

The clouds look pretty gross right now.
