Silverlight 3 recently added the ability to do plane projections(with anything!). Here is a very simple demo that lets you play around with it a little.

This includes the source code and a decent start to any silverlight game. (mainloop,input,etc. If you want to just check out the demo navigate to the debug directory and open the html file.

Here are two examples of the implementation. (test1 is the same as the source provided, test2 is an example of multiple projected planes)

Use WASD to rotate the planes. On the second one, you can use R and F to zoom in/out.

Sweet, I keep meaning to download the full Visual Studio before my MSDN expires and messing with some Silverlight.  I will look into this later, thanks!

Fortunately Visual Web Developer Express is free and so is silverlight. Everyone can check it out :D
