Player 3@ Photoshop >> Brushes >> Other Dynamics >> Opacity Jitter >> Control: Pen Pressure. Other than that, just big swooshy strokes and practice with line control. Nice doodle, btw. ;~) I don't want to hog the thread but here are some drawings from the sketchbook I'm going to be applying to schools with.  |

Awesomeness
The 70s rainbow lines + military trenchcoat and feeling of older anime (Lupin the Third comes to mind? Maybe Trigun?) makes me think this would be an awesome style to play with. The silhouette basis and feeling like an era with rough technology for video games is leading me to think that she would move and act in a way that expressed a player's imagination, so I'm seeing transforming shapes for powerups (arm blasters and kicks that turn into blades) for a sidescrolling world of retro fiction/imagination brought to life. Or I could be reading too much into it  But your piece gave me a trip for sure! |
