Hello,
this is the Devlog of my new game, focusing on surviving, exploring and taming animals.
These are some pictures after 3 days of developing:
What it now features:
- Mountain terrain which can be mined
- A random-tree-spawner which will randomly generate trees after a short time when you farm them
- A crafting mode which allows you to spend trees and leaves to craft: foundations, walls, ceilings and inner walls. (They will snap to each other. Walls, and inner walls can only be placed if there is a foundation, ceilings only on walls.
- A prototype bird to fly on (a vulture). Will be changed into a wild, tamable animal.
- Hp and temperature Bar. Hp will fall if temperature is 0 or when you fall from higher distances. Temperature will fall if you are outside and rise if you are inside a house (inner wall).
What will come (soon?):
- Big map with multiple biomes
- Wild animals with KI which will be tamable to hunt other animals or to explore the world
- Non-weapon fighting system => You can only tame animals to fight with you but can't fight yourself.
- Some more resources (especially rarer) and more things to craft
