Hi, i've made this tool for making frame based sprite animations (from sprite sheets). It's purpose is to make the process of animating sprites as easy and intuitive as possible. It's in beta. So it's not completely polished yet. I figured you guys from tigsource forums could give me some good feedback.  For more info visit it's page here http://spritevortex.codeplex.com/. Thanks Smiley

I'm definitely going to take a look at this. I hate my current methodology when it comes to checking if my frames animate well >_<

It does look interesting. I'll probably be taking a look at it next time I need to do some animating.

In the meantime, it would be great if you could introduce yourself in this thread: http://forums.tigsource.com/index.php?topic=45.0

Update: Sprite Vortex is now at 1.2.2 version with all major bugs fixed. I've made an example of how to parse the animations XML and created a ready to use Animation class that uses the parsed information. Currently the example uses Vortex2D engine(highly recommended for simple and professional 2d games btw ), but XNA will follow. More info here: http://spritevortex.codeplex.com/ as always :D Thank you all.
Next i'm planning a full featured Scene/Map editor !
