Muppets Adventure: Chaos at the Carnival is first memory I have of playing a game but Pokemon Red was the first game I put hours into

My earliest ever memory with video games was a kid at a playground sharing their GameBoy with me. I interacted with a PC in a Pokémon game and then I couldn't figure out how to get out of the menus. I'm not sure which game it was, but it was one of the first or second generation games.

To this day, I still do not trust overly complicated and deeply nested menus in games...

My first game was Super Mario. I won it a few times, and sometimes I even run the simulator on Windows. But not very often. Still, there are more interesting games nowadays.

I don't remember the name...but there's some guy with a shotgun running around shooting at things - ghosts, I think, and something else.
But the first time I skipped school was when I got sucked into Civilization 1.
