Facepalm.

Dude, I am trying to make something original, and theres already the crewman to fulfill all the needs of Enginner and aviator and the like. You are talking about 2 sprites drew out a month ago, when if you actually played the alpha you would see that there is a steam-powered HUD. Tanks and airplanes will have steam-powered engines to flap wings and move treads.

I did play the demo. :/
Gameplay was crap, as mentioned before the gravity is way low, and the movement is super slow.

The only "steampunk" you have in your game atm is the Gears for the HUD.
Which is the only decent part of this game so far to be honest.

The tiles all clash.
And the tiles aren't even "pixel art" so they are going to clash with the character.
Everything looks super flat, like paper thin.

Your arm is on a front layer so it goes above the cannon. :/
The cannon looks more medieval ages then it does steampunk.

Its sopposed to look like that. Also, you played LAST demo. A few posts above is the new latest. Its also a pre-alpha, if you know. So gameplay doesn't exist yet.

I'm sorry but movement counts as gameplay, Mr. Knowitall

"That's how it's supposed to look."
Is not an acceptable answer, you're just dodging my critique and that pisses me off, you've done it to pretty much every other person here.
And I suspected you'd do the same thing to me, and you have.
So, if it's "supposed" to look like crap then I guess it's gonna look like crap.

I am no longer going to offer an opinion on this project as clearly you are not listening to any of the critique I've given you.
Good luck with your game that will probably never be finished. (decently) Hand Thumbs Up Left

I meant the cannon. It is sopposed to look medieval.

And your critique, as mentioned before, is being fixed. The gravity is stronger, and movement somewhat faster.

Supposed*

Then my question to you is, why is there a medieval cannon in a game called Steampunk Online?
Without any relation to steampunk this game does not deserve the name Steampunk Online. (I also agree online in any MMO name is fail)

Edit: Wow, you dodged my critique AGAIN in the post below...
If you are making your "own" universe, then why even bring up steampunk?
Seeing as though steam obviously has no part in this world of yours. :/

Also, I wouldn't change what steampunk is in a game called "Steampunk Online"
This will upset many fan-boys and possible players as mentioned before by others.
Since they'd expect the universe they've learned to love.

Why not call this "Semi-Medieval nothing to do with Steampunk Online"?
Then at least your being honest.

Because im changing what Steampunk is, creating a new universe. Some of you might oppose it, but I see a more medieval setting as something to explore.

that's nothing more than a shallow excuse to not take constructive criticism. it's like saying "OH HEY IM GOING MAKE A RAP ALBUM AND HAVE NOTHING BUT COUNTRY MUSIC IN IT. IF ANYONE SAYS IT'S NOT RAP THEN FUCK THEM. IT'S STILL RAP BECAUSE I SAID SO. Mock Anger"
