Ok, so the semester is coming to an end. I started off working on level design for a 2D platformer game. The type of genre that I was aiming for was somewhat like a combination of Contra and Metal Slug. Throughout this semester, I was to create 3 different levels. I currently have the first two levels working. The third level is still in construction. Some of the functionality of the level aren't working yet. I mainly worked on programming. the level is all laid out already. For this last week, I worked a bit on the third level. I also went back on level 1 and 2. I did a bit of polish on both those levels. Since I added the double jump late into the game, i just went in and increase the gap between each platforms. nothing new has been added yet. here is what I have so far.
