Please explain this mysterious wonder.
hm.. I might sound crazy if I did that. It's a game that incorporates various observations I've made about my reality. How there is always an opposite, how something comes from nothing, and that something is never really anywhere because the things that aren't anything are constant, and solid- everywhere..
people usually don't know what I'm talking about when I talk weird, so it might be best to just wait for the game. I'm not sure how clear things will be made in the game though.
the character you see in that shot is in its charged state where black and white is beginning to separate or something.. the magenta and green are opposite colors based on my own color theory.

Dude you are just pumping out prototypes, and they're high quality as well. How? What's your workflow?

Haha, thanks! Smiley Um, they're all engines/demos for Game Maker users. So the functionality and speed just comes from my familiarity with Game Maker Studio. Nothing magical, I swear!

With that in mind, I added BRIDGES.

Been lurking this thread since page 4 or so, silently marvelling at all these awesome games.
I figured it was time to join the fun Smiley

The artist drew a one-frame transition for when the player changes the direction he's facing. I thought it would be a very small difference, but the results shocked me. The difference is very noticeable to me and makes it look so much smoother.

Nice work

For some reason it reminded me about the probes on matrix

@Zack - Really cool demos. I wanted to say on the bridges one that the bridge seems stiff, but it all looks really slick! Nice work.

@sqrbt - Haha, that gameplay reminds me of Little Fighter.

That's really coming along!

Are you using GM's own physics stuff (physics_joint, etc) for the rope, or your own implementation? I'm developping a grapple system for mine and have not yet decided whether to use physics, or just to hack it.

This reminded me of Dark Castle, except for the sword attack bit.

I'm back to my goal of making a 2D Shock-like. This time with room generation.
