Seriously enjoying the pixel work in this devlog, that blending for moving behind scenery is wonderful!

Instead of adding new features I've been reiventing the wheel this week.

Yet another particle editor you may think. Well it is and I hope it serves this game well.

By the way this is just a random particle effect, awesome ones are still in progress.

Btw, how did you make those trees/grass move in the wind? Animated or stretching the image?

Yeah, I hope it too, but the editor itself still needs some work.
These trees/grass are just cut into several parts (trees have 4 parts, grass 2) and some of those are moved along x-axis using sin(time) function. Nothing too fancy here Wink
For me one of the major advantage of using pixelart is that it's easy to animate so I can make world visally dynamic.
