I've recently finished working on a small collection of chiptune songs as a sort of way to challenge myself as a composer. Here's the link to the soundcloud playlist, all comments and criticisms welcome  Smiley

This is something I literally just wrapped up about an hour ago. It's more drone-y, spacey, and then it goes into just a few distorted chords. I was watching a Silent Hill playthrough when putting all this together, and the vibe I was trying to go for was more of a "lonely" kind of vibe. I used a bow to give myself that cello effect that you can hear throughout. Any feedback at all would be most appreciated.

I like the feel of that. Felt like a narrative piece for dialogue or something.

So here is some concept music for shiggles. It's a video because I put a zombie walking in it for theming.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sEOt2Gmo5GI&feature=youtu.be

Hello everyone, I'm new here.
I've been interesting in composing for games and the like for a while now and recently read about this website, so thought I'd sign up and so far it looks pretty awesome.

I make alternative electronic music, along with some more ambient, drone-type stuff.

If anybody is interested, feel free to check out my Soundcloud page: https://soundcloud.com/babbage-4.

Cheers.

I have no clue if this is the right place to post this, but I've got some music that might be fitting for videro james. Not all of them, but some of them. If nothing else, it can serve as an indication of my capabilities.

Here's a track I finished yesterday.

https://soundcloud.com/john-jeziorski/tribe-like-percussion

The name kinda says it all. I used the usual latin percussion, but instead of using a typical guitar for strings, I used something else. I had Dark Cloud in mind when I was making this.

Hello everyone,

I am new to the forum and wanted to introduce myself.  My name is Joseph Mancuso, better known as Joman.  I've been writing digital music for thirteen years and have been a certified audio engineer since 2011.  The reason I'm posting here should be obvious; I wanted to share my music with you, the gaming, modding and otherwise developing community in the hopes of networking and meeting talented people working on exciting IP's.  I've been heavily immersed in the electronic music scene and played some of the biggest events in the United States... but if I may be frank, the "EDM" community is wearing on me and I feel that my true passion lies in developing music (and doing sound design) for video games.  I've drawn inspiration from so many amazing video game soundtracks, all the way back to The Secret of Monkey Island and even the obvious games like Mario Bros, as well as more recent projects like the Halo series.  I recently did a Bootleg of Animotion's "Obsession" from the GTA: Vice City soundtrack, which received acknowledgement from Rockstar Games on their website and social networks and eventually praise from the band themselves.  Last but not least I did a remix of the song, "Dayman" from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia which received attention on Twitter by cast member Glenn Howerton and has climbed to well over a million views on Youtube.  But I digress; I want to apply my skills to help create appropriate moods in varying digital environments.  To those of you who took the time to read this, thank you and I hope to hear from some of you!

(Note: if you do take an interest in me, I regrettably admit that I simply cannot afford to work on any projects for free at this time.  I am currently a full-time sample designer for Beatport as well as working on a solo album but given the right project it would take precedence.)

Thank you!

This one is so far my most popular.

It's easy to listen to and loops.  I like it a lot but I prefer to tell a story with my music like these two

These are loops I made for a casual iOS game

I'm impressed! You've got some great sounding compositions (musically and production-wise)!

I especially enjoyed the Emotional/Drama and Lighthearted/Commercial reels.

What sound libraries do you use? I currently have Komplete 9 and struggle to make it's orchestral samples sound large and convincing (Kompleye 9 comes with just a few VSL samples for strings, brass, woodwinds, and percussion)

Keep it up!
