Yeah, that exactly. It feels like there's a lot of 'noise' introduced. Maybe the current cost could be shown as the player hovers around potential new rail track?

Yeah, that's a good tip. I will try to change that in future updates . Thanks!

Interesting game, I am going to try the Linux demo soon (thanks for that)!
I noticed that most of your symbols in game are the ones used for logic gates. Is there any connection with those or are you just using the same symbols for different things?

It's just coincidence . We were inspired by real dispatcher SW which has this kind of symbols.

As a bit of a train nerd myself, I have to ask - what made you want to do a dispatch sim? It's a part of these train sims you (sadly) don't see as much and it's really interesting!
I played a bit of the alpha build though I found the menus a bit clunky. In particular, there were some buttons (the dispatch buttons come immediately to mind) that felt like there should be more click-area, where I felt like clicking on the dot should have been accepted instead of just the text. I'm really excited for the full release though, with the bit of playtime I'm really interested in what kind of ultra-hectic scenarios you'll dream up!

Yeah, we were inspired by real dispatching signal box simulator that a friend had shown me . But we want to include a lot gamification into it, to not make a real simulator but a proper game.
