This may seem a like a silly question, but I don't actually have any experience doing it, and it has occurred to me that maybe it's not just like Windows. Do you just give out a folder with the binary and data in it? Do you give a folder with the binary, data, and any shared objects the player might not already have? Do you give a folder with the data, the source, and a makefile and have the user compile it?
