@Pixel Noise
Thank you! We have been working on it for around a year now. We are currently at 35% of the development. Smiley

Wow, I can't believe you're only at %35, for how things are looking and how much content you've shown in your updates. This seems almost more like an MMO than anything, with how diverse the world and activities are. It's nice that you'll be allowing 4 player co-op, but I also wonder if there's a way you can build a "hub" - a separate zone within the town somewhere maybe? - where you could interact, chat, etc with more than 4 people? Basically like a "lobby"? This would give the game a broader feel, and give players a chance to find people to play with, show off their cool new monster, etc?

These are probably most of the available features and the other 65% are contents that will be added in the features.

The hub sounds really awesome and it would definitely push the game further in terms of social quality. We can consider that but we try not to go overboard with our small team right now as our resources are really limited. <-The sad fact of all indies without funding support Sad

But nonetheless we are planning to add a lobby where you can find public and private game so you can hop on to join different people. Smiley

Update Log #1 Fishing

There are many different Biomes around the world of Legend of Lumina and you can find plenty of fish in each of them. Every Biome is housing different fish ranging from normal to legendary fish, you just have to look at the right place to land one of those tasty treats!

Before you start fishing, you would have to acquire a fishing pole either by crafting or obtain it from someone. Next you will have to acquire a Float to attach it to the fishing pole and then you are set to cast it in a body of water!

There are plenty of fish to catch in the water around the world and each of them is useful in their own way. They can be used in cooking, crafting or some mysterious ritual! Normal fish are relatively easy to land but Rare and Legendary fishes will put up a fight and break you line easily. Make sure you are well equipped before challenging those fishes.

Onece you have acquired the basic fishing equipment, you can upgrade and enhance their power to land larger and rarer fish. You can craft better Rods and acquire better Float to maximize your fishing power. Each Rod and Float will give you special buffs and assist you in your fishing journey! Here's some of the Float concept that are currently in development.

We hope that you will enjoy the fishing feature in the game and do not hesitate to leave us a comment or feedback!

Update Log #2 Combat

Combat plays a huge role in Legend of Lumina as you probably need to collect materials from monsters to accomplish your goal and usually they would not give up parts of their body for free. You will need to hunt them in the wild and collect their loot.

There's another way to collect loot without harming the monsters, but it is usually faster to hunt them in the wild because raising monsters in the barn is a slower process. You are also helping the villagers by removing threats around the village so it's a win win scenario!

You start with basic mastery of your weapon proficiency and you will gain new attack as you practice your combat skills. Additional combo will be added to your attack once you have gained some combat mastery. Each additional attack in your combo will deal more damage so it is a good idea to master your basic weapon proficiency early on to boost your combat strength.

Other than normal combo attack, you will also acquire plenty of other skills during your adventure. They can be found in chests around the world or sold by merchants around the village. Each skill is unique and they serve multiple purposes in your adventure. Combat skills can deal tons of damage and utility skills can heal you or help you light up the night sky, you just have to pick the best skill for your current situation.

Hope you enjoy our combat update and feel free to leave your comment or feedback! =)
