I took a break from other projects like MegaCity to create some smaller, more easily accomplish-able projects. This is one of them.

This game connects to 3 random websites and downloads some words from them. Then, it searches google images for the words, and has you type them, along with an image. It get progressively harder as you go, but if you beat it you can put your name on the online scoreboard! (Then download a new set of words and play again I suppose)

Downloading takes forever though. Check the imgs folder every so often to see if it's making progress or not.

Beware of the fact that there's no filter.
It gets pretty strange when you have words like "big", "hottest", "pretty" and "gaq".

One more note: It doesn't ignore javascript, so you'll also have stuff like "getelementbyid", "var" and "function".

People are generally pretty wary of software that downloads anything  Undecided

I s'pose, but it's just images. Nothing really to fear so even if it did somehow downloaded a javascript, AND it would work under MS JScript, the program never executes anything other than downloadcrap.exe and taskkill, so it's totally safe.

My parents are in the other room so the "no filter" made me unable to play

Nathan Cash:

The first time I showed it to my mother there was some wacky porn about halfway through.  WTF

So, can't blame you there.

I wouldn't be allowed on a computer ever again! It is in the process of downloading the pics right now. It really does take forever.

EDIT: Okay here are my thoughts. I assumed the game would be like so: It shows you a picture and you guess what it is. Since it is just a typing game why do you even need the pics? Or why don't you make it non random. My point is it takes FOREVER to download and I can't justify waiting just to type. It is a cool idea with lots of potential but it needs some work in my opinion.

Dunno how you can really rate it without playing it, but whatever.

You're right it takes forever to download, but if it doesn't have any pictures it's rather boring. I intended to have some sort of mode where pictures would fly in and you'd have to shoot them or something, but I never really got around to it.

Still, "forever" is about 4 mins at max. for me. I presume you never got it working? (Check to see if the imgs folder is actually filling up with stuff.)
