Hey guys,

Im Michael Carville, I am 22 and currently living in Northern Ireland. I just graduated With BA Hons in Visual Communication so my education has been focused on design, branding and a tiny bit of animation, it didnt turn out to be my ideal course.
Now that I have finished uni I can finally work on character design for games and more narrative based animation  (until now I have only animated for advertisements) . Heres a link to my portfolio http://be.net/Carvilledesign

I have never been involved in a game although now that I am free from uni life, Games are really what I wish to pursue. Im also willing to work on branding for any companies out there.
I did the branding for http://hyperduck.co.uk/

For the last while I had been working on some 3d motion graphics with a 3 man video mapping team for live music but FINALY I am able to sit and work on some game art.

Here is my first attempt at a sprite that took roughly 4 days from sketch to animated idle stance: (I need to clean it up a little so it loops perfectly and redo the beard)

My favourite games would be: Black & White , Morrowind ,wow vanilla, Diablo 2 and Tekken.. And as of lately my friends and I have taken up D&D so I'm feeling the need to make some fantasy rpg art bigtime.

thanks for reading!
