(The Metroid Prime games were developed in America, but wasn't it Miyamoto's idea to make the switch to first person?)
What's even more interesting is that Ocarina of Time was almost a first-person game. He said that he didn't want people to be confused by the in-game camera and have trouble with the combat. This led to the invention of Z-Targeting, which allows the fighting to exist practically on a 2D plane. |

Yeah it was originally in they live (one of the greatest SCI-FI movies ever) and "borrowed" by the duke nukem devellopers.
They Live! would make an awesome FPS/beatem up/hobo simulator.

LOUD NOISE! LOUD ALIEN/VAMPIRE/DINOSAUR NOISE.
