One designer has an 8-bit fetish while another loves photorealistic graphics, but somehow it all meshes together nicely. If you don't shoot the ships down, you get pregnant.
Techno baby reconstructs earth's history and makes a big lady by shooting things. Hint 1: These games share a very similar shooting mechanic. Hint 2: The first game is an indie game by a dev not known for shmups. Hint 3: The second game's clue describes its last level. Since no one seems to be getting it, the first one is Trigger. Its a lock-on shmup where the narrative framing is that the player character is shooting down suitors and cannot let even a single one past her guard as a matter of pride. Not technically fearing pregnancy, but this is the poorly describe games thread. I am very disappointed no one guessed the second one yet.  |
