Hello, I have created a small hobby game with Unity and would like to present it here for feedback.

Rum Barrel Run - An endless Runner

Test your reflexes and dexterity in our new game! Skilfully dodge the rum barrels on an endless parkour and try to improve your high score. With a total of three lives, you'll have to concentrate to avoid being knocked out of the game. Save your high score online and challenge other players to compete with you. Simple, exciting and entertaining - be ready for the challenge.

Hey grinseengel2,

I played your game.

Things I liked:
- Everything controls well & the game runs well
- It's pretty fun
- It's challenging

What could use some work
- It felt awkward that I had to click after a death to respawn.  I would like it to respawn me automatically.
- The game speeds up over time, that's normal.  If you let the game run while in the dead state the level will continue to speed up.
- It got boring after a few tries

Very nice little game!  It's a good time killer.

Hi,

played your game.
Nice challenging game, well done Smiley

I'd agree with jbarrios, clicking to respawn is odd.

I was a bit frustrated by the hit detection. I mostly died because I moved sidewards into a barrel when I though I had already cleared it. My recommendation would be to make the hitbox only half a barrel "long" towards the back side. That would solve the problem for me. It feels a bit like the collider of the barrel or the character are boxes when maybe a sphere or capsule collider would be a better fit.

Oh, and the webgl version never shows the menu (had to use the download version).

Keep at it!
