PBAB (Physics Based Arena Brawler)

That's the full title. I like it because PBAB is easy to say and the full title explains exactly what it is. Here are some mp4's! Toast Right

I think that's a great name! It describes your concept clearly in a short, memorable, and to-the-point keyword.

Sounds like a game you would market towards Sonic fans and the likes. I didn't click the pictures though, I am speaking solely about the title since that is the purpose of the thread.

I am developing a roguelike card game which name was game of heroes. I got some negative feedback about the name and I created a poll that should I change it or not. The result was obvious (~80 change but only 2 don't change). It was too generic and I want to give a new name related to roguelike and card games. I am thinking to name it "Rogue Deck" but I am not sure it is right because I am terrible at naming  Shrug and it won't easy to be top on google. I wonder your suggestions and opinions?

Game Name: Morterra
It's a combination of the Latin words: "Morte" meaning death, and "Terra" meaning earth/land.
Together it means "Death Land".

The game is an open-world hardcore survival game where you can pvp anywhere and when you die, the other player takes your loot. Players can also raid your base and take all of your stored loot.

Thoughts?

Glossy Balls

Congrats on the release. Your game looks nice Smiley Regarding the name, though, I can't help but getting some less than wholesome associations… It only applies to people with dirty minds, of course Well, hello there! At this point, it's probably better to just roll with it, since the game is already out there.

As always,

How about The Bunny Hill Horror!

This is either the best name I've ever come up with or the worst...

Anyway, it's a visual novel so needs to be pretty striking- I wanted it to be memorable, and reflect the game's genre and tone.

More details in the main devlog thread if anyone wants them.

Sounds too generic to be memorable.
Knowing nothing else about your game, I'd focus on why you arrived at that name and break it down to find variations.
"Planet" indicates the main objects of focus. Give them a name, or call them something more abstract.
"Realm" describes the context/container those objects live within.
There are many words meaning planet, world, Earth, ground, orb, etc. I'd take one that fits the lore of your game and combine it with another word for "realm".
From the image, it appears the edges of the Realm are sparkly and blue. To me, this resembles a fantasy sky/cosmos. I'd find a creative name for the "realm" to use in-game, such as "The Sky", "The Deep Blue", "Ether", "Oblivion", "The Infinite", etc.
I came up with:
Skylands <- this is taken http://skylandsthegame.com/
Cyan Worlds <- sadly taken by a fantastic studio.
Terra Finite <- is your game a commentary on disposable worlds, and the fact we're destroying our own?
Glossy Balls <- this one's taken, too  Cheesy
Great Balls of Pyre <- are the planets dumping grounds?
Ganglia <- ignoring my own advice because your image looks like colorful ganglia.
Eon Estates
Twenty Acres and a Singularity
No Space Like Home <- taken by non-games
Big Bad Bubble Babies <- assuming your game is about large angry bubble babies.

If the game has lore, that would ease your search for a name.

Hi everyone, what do you think about:
"My Long Locking Story"

Intentions for naming were:
- Simple words
- Unusual word combination
- Attempt to highlight that game have a bit of content to explore Durr...?

My main fear is that it's still too generic whilst not setting enough context to start being curious about what's behind.

Thanks for any form of feedback!
