Hey!

Just obligatorily introducing myself, ya know  Grin

So I've been working with designing games since I was 8, playing them since I can remember. It's been my dream to pursue game design as a career. It's quite far fetched as I know working in game design is like the journalism of computer science. I have high hopes though, and from the feedback I've gotten I think it's feasible. I'm also a sociopathic narcissist which constantly gives me the feeling I can succeed at everything I try. So we'll see how it goes.

Hi! I'm Alex. I like programming, I like games, and I like programming games. Smiley
Diablo and Pokemon are the two most memorable games from my early childhood. As I got older I played a lot of Starcraft, Diablo 2, and pretty much everything else that ran on a Mac, including Vendetta Online, an independent space MMORPG FPS which I've been playing for 8 years.

I'm studying computer science at Carleton University. I haven't been developing games for very long, but so far I've participated in a couple of game jams, helped develop Mari0, and now I'm working on my own game, Snayke.

Hello! I'm Reikun and I like to draw. When I was little I used to make silly little board games with windy paths and portals and lots of rules that made it hard to win, so I guess I've always liked making games, I'm just new to making computer games :>
The earliest game I can remember playing on my own without getting freaked out by boss battles was probably Dewprism/Threads of Fate

(Why is it so hard to find someone else who has played this game)

but I also grew up with some kind of Mario game for the N64 and, of course, Pokemon! There was also this one game made for the Sega Dreamcast that had awesome colorful robots that could fly and dash around. I was too young to pay attention to the title so if anyone knows what it might be I'd appreciate it if someone told me Gentleman

So yeah! I like to draw but I still have a lot to learn about art and games and telling stories. I suck at tower defense games but I like platformers and rpgs. Nice to meet everyone!

Hey, I'm Alfred.

I've been interested in games most of my life. Got my start in development (and in programming) with GameMaker, making expectedly terrible Nintendo fangames.

Roughly at the point where I started giving handguns to Koopas, I began to have my own ideas, like a real boy, and made a few original games.

After that, I went to University, learned C++, started and stopped a webcomic, and now I've been working on a solo game for the past year or so, which is set to release next month.

Hey all! I've just recently gotten into game development (about a year ago) and am currently studying computer science Smiley. Although I do study computer science, I enjoy creating art a whole lot as well, and have contributed to a lot of the art in the following game:

I've currently one good project to share with you all: Ancient Forest and Grumpy Monsters

Screenshots of gameplay!

I'm now currently working on a simple 2D game engine called AsciiEngine, which I'd like to share with you all momentarily in the Technical forums. I've lurked TIGSource for a while now, but haven't really wanted to join until I had some interesting things to contribute and share.

Nice to join!

Hi there!

My name is Shawn. I am mainly a web developer who is trying to get into more game development. I currently know HTML, CSS, and PHP at what I believe is a good level. I have been interested in computers since I was a little kid, around 6. I am now 15, almost 16.

I have a lot of interest in gaming and have been playing indie games for awhile. I've always wanted to be able to make fun games that my friends and family could enjoy, as well as anyone else who sees the game. I currently know some AS3 and have made simple games out of, such as Pong and an "avoid the blocks" game. I'm working harder at getting better at AS3 and believe that my next language I will learn will be Java.

I plan on sticking around and becoming active in this community - and hopefully start work on my own game(s) soon!  Smiley

My name is Ryan, and I've been making games for fun with zackbell for a couple years now.

I've been lurking around for just as long, but I guess it is time to stop being Zack's "silent partner" and introduce myself.

Currently working on a game with Zack, and while it wont be our first "completed" project, it is the first we plan on putting out to the public.  Pretty excited.

Hi, we're Bouncing Yeti Games. We're a group of two that are looking to get serious about game development.

As of now the team includes myself (Zack Bell) and my friend (Ryan Swarner). We are looking forward to finding people to collaborate with in the near future.

Hi! My name's Colleen, and I'm one of the members of TwinTurtle Games! (So named because one of our members had three turtles, but TripleTurtle Games sounded too weird. Also, other reasons.) You can check out our site here, and see our games we're working on or have completed here. Right now we're focusing on visual novels, but we have plans to branch out!

Our main focus right now is a game called That's the Way the Cookie Crumbles, which is part baking sim, part dating sim. Please play our demo!

As for me personally, I'm a hippie hipster academic nerd person who wants to make games for a living.

Hi, I'm Bill. I've worked on a few games in the past at the company I worked for, who specialised in touch interaction on desktop PCs. In the distant past I also made a few simple games on my own.

Recently I've started working with Unity in my own time. I'm making a sort of 3D first-person Doodle Jump thing as a learning experience, which I now have a DevLog for. After that, I have a secret project planned.

Hello all! This is Jonathon, and I've been developing some small games here and there, but my main focus currently is on a 2D Flash shooter called "Aqua Rhapsody", which feature digitized clay graphics.

My interests include collecting classic video games, watching Anime, inventing odd inventions, drawing, programming, programming video games (of course Tongue ), and things like that. I try to live life awesomely!
