I finished making a platformer game.

If you want to play it: http://angvik.us/

It's made with Construct 2, and only runs on Windows atm (using the node-webkit thingo).

but I can't really "try" it
This might be C2's killer-app (depending on how it works on windows)

Gam is hard
but good hard, like arvoesine or old school arcade games where you learn the levels. I would enjoy this game
unfortunately HTML5 doesn't really want to let me play it. I have an integrated graphic card (which I don't upgrade for devellopment/testing purposes), which might be the problem . Game stutters a lot.
I found that clicking the maximize button on the window works better than using the in-game "fullscreen" and actually solves a lot of the stuttering. but still not enough for me.
A demo could be a good idea.
The inventory system is interesting.

Any chance of a demo? If not I'll just buy it soon to try it out.

You should have mentioned this more here (or posted a thread on Insomnia), I wouldn't have known about it at all if I hadn't clicked the Announcements forum on a whim.

I can just give gift codes if you want to try it.

I dunno, I hate talking about and releasing my games (which pretty much dooms me, I guess). I just enjoy making them.

yeah I noticed that. I am personally a fan of your type of games, with the arcade difficulty that crushes you on the first plays but gets easier as you learn.
You need to work on your marketing skills.
I understand not doing a devlog (I hate doing or reading devlogs myself), but oyu have to talk about them a bit

This looks pretty amazing, good thing you bumped it, congrats.

Oh, you made Arvoesine too, I thought it looked a bit familiar somehow. That was great too.

But you've clearly upped the ante since, with all those different items and larger scope Smiley

one thing that needed fixing is the collision for when stomping enemies, it should be more forgiving (i.e make a bigger collision radius) because sometimes you fall just one pixel in front of the enemy and take damage, this shouldn't happen

^ Yeah, this happens far to often to me as well, A move that looked like it should have got me a kill ends up getting me irreversibly hurt or killed.
Otherwise it's very charming and enjoyable

Noooo! I was looking into it but now, unless it runs in Wine, I can't play it. I have 10.6.8. :/

I will vote it up on Greenlight though.
